Please go to the corresponding instruction based on the current Windows operating system on your computer:

Sign in / Create a Microsoft account

1. Type and search [Your account info] in the Windows search bar①, then click [Open]②.
   
2. Click [Sign in with a Microsoft account instead]③.
   
3. Type the email, phones number, or Skype account to sign-in that you use for other Microsoft services (such Outlook, Office, etc.)④.
   If you don’t have a Microsoft account yet, please select [Create one!]⑤.
   
4. Please type your email address (it will be used as the Microsoft account)⑥, then select [Next]⑦.
   If you don’t have an email address, you also can use a phones number instead or get a new email address.
   
5. Please enter the password you would like to use with your Microsoft account⑧, then select [Next]⑨.
   
6. Please type your First name and Last name⑩, then click [Next]⑪.
   
7. Please type your country/region and birth date⑫, then select [Next]⑬.
   
8. Microsoft will send a verification email to your email address, please enter the code accordingly⑭, then click [Next]⑮.
   
9. Microsoft account has been created. You will need to use your Microsoft account and password when you sign-in to this computer next time. Before that, please type the current Windows password for the original local account⑯, then click [Next]⑰.
   If you didn’t set up a password for the local account, please do not enter anything and then select Next directly.
   
10. Windows is to give you fast and secure sign-in, it may need you to sign in with a PIN. Please click [Next]⑱.
    
11. Please enter a PIN you want to use⑲, then select [Next]⑳. This PIN will be utilized when you log in to Windows.
    
12. Microsoft account sign-in is completed. You will see the Microsoft account in Your info page.

Forgot the password of your Microsoft account

If you forgot the password of your Microsoft account, please refer to the following steps to reset the password.

1. Click here to go to the reset password website of the Microsoft account.
2. Please type your Microsoft account①, then select [Next]②.
   
3. You will see an email or phones number selected where you would like to get the security code to verify your identity③, then select [Get code]④.
   
4. Enter the code you received accordingly from the Microsoft account team⑤, then select [Next]⑥.
   
5. Type a new password you would like to use⑦, then select [Next]⑧.
   
6. The password reset is completed.

2. Click [Sign in with a Microsoft account instead]③.
